So I recently had another freelance gig that didnt push through, so here's the work I'd done for it. Im thinking of changing his left fist so its more like the first thumbnail,and im going to be changing the bear as well. Gonna make that bear ROAR! so i can paint more teeth :D

It's gonna get crazy these next few weeks. I'll be leaving Las Vegas in a week in a half and it wasn't til recently that I realised that it may not be my favorite place in the world but there are a lot of things I'll miss along with friends and family here. BUT, its time for a challenge and for working my ass off to get into school. Im pretty excited and scared about everything at the same time, which makes it more fun. Ill have a 16 hour flight to the Philippines,which at the moment is having a crazy typhoon and is flooding everywhere. Spend 3 weeks there with family and friends, catch up and have some fun. Then after that,its off to SF to find work.

hmm, im not too happy with this update, buut i learned that i should probably work through my sketchbook pages more and fill up a lot of empty spaces and try to work through the frustrating stuff as well. I also recently bought a ream of copy paper to do studies on, of pretty much anything which is neat. I like going to blogs like face hunter and sartorialist to just draw people with pretty clothes. and shoes.

anyways heres a few stuff from my previous moleskine, the one i bought 2 days ago, a picture of my broken moleskine and a sargent study.

Sometimes, im really thankful for my crappy directional skills,because it's the reason I found this awesome gallery / shop where they were selling loads of great posters, prints and a ton of Shawn Barber stuff. Luckily it was the soft opening, so i was able to get these babies for a lower price. And now this is what my desk looks like :
After that I headed over to the MTZ gallery where Derek Hess was showing. Ive been a fan of his work since I was 14, so it was great meeting him and seeing his work in person.

All in all it was a great night, the morning after wasnt so great... very sore arms and legs !But hey it was worth it !
